Terms of Use for Hugspace Partner Coaching Program

These Terms of Use govern participation in the Hugspace Partner Coaching Program (“Program”), operated by Ukraine Liberty Fund (“ULF”) through Hugspace. Coaching or educational services are provided in collaboration with the independent coach or organization identified on the applicable Program registration or booking page (“Program Partner”). By registering for or participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Nature of the Program

The Program is designed to support participants in their career development, job search, personal growth, or other educational objectives through coaching, training, workshops, or group sessions provided by the Program Partner.

Program activities may include educational presentations, coaching sessions, discussions, guided exercises, peer feedback, resume reviews, mock interviews, workshops, and other learning activities. Participation is voluntary, and participants are encouraged—but never required—to share personal experiences or information. The Program is intended for educational and informational purposes only. Unless expressly stated, it is not an employment agency, recruiting service, legal, immigration, medical, psychological, psychiatric, or financial service, and participation does not guarantee employment, admission, certification, or any other specific outcome.

By participating, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. Coaches and Facilitators

The Program is facilitated by representatives of the Program Partner, Hugspace volunteers, guest speakers, or other facilitators selected for the Program. Their guidance is educational in nature and is intended to help participants make informed decisions. Unless expressly stated, facilitators are not acting as licensed attorneys, therapists, financial advisors, immigration consultants, or other licensed professionals.

3. Limitation of Liability

ULF, Hugspace, and the Program Partner strive to provide accurate and practical educational information but do not guarantee that Program information will be complete, current, or suitable for every participant’s circumstances. Participation is voluntary, and participants remain responsible for their own decisions and actions, including educational, career, employment, legal, financial, immigration, medical, and personal decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ULF, Hugspace, the Program Partner, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and agents are not liable for losses resulting solely from a participant’s reliance on Program information or from decisions made by the participant following the Program. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

4. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for the decisions and actions they take following participation in the Program. Outcomes depend on many factors beyond the control of ULF, Hugspace, or the Program Partner, including individual effort, qualifications, market conditions, and decisions made by third parties.

Participants are encouraged to independently verify information related to employment, education, licensing, immigration, legal, tax, financial, medical, or other professional matters with appropriately qualified professionals.

5. Confidentiality

We strive to create a respectful and supportive learning environment. Participants agree not to disclose another participant’s personal information or statements outside the Program without that person’s permission.

Because Program activities may be conducted in a group setting, ULF, Hugspace, and the Program Partner cannot guarantee that other participants will maintain confidentiality. Participants should exercise discretion when sharing personal or sensitive information. Group coaching is not a legally privileged or professionally confidential setting.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to administer the Program, address safety or misconduct concerns, protect legal rights, or comply with applicable law.

6. Participant Conduct

Participants agree to engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow participants. Harassment, discrimination, threats, intimidation, retaliation, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the Program.

Participants may not record, photograph, screenshot, transcribe, livestream, or distribute Program sessions, participant communications, or Program materials without prior permission from ULF and any affected individuals.

7. No Endorsement

Participation in the Program does not create an employment, contractor, or agency relationship with ULF, Hugspace, or the Program Partner. References to employers, organizations, products, educational institutions, or services are provided for educational purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement unless expressly stated.

8. Intellectual Property

Program materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Materials provided by a Program Partner remain the property of that Program Partner or the applicable rights holder. Materials created by ULF or Hugspace remain the property of ULF. Participants may use Program materials only for their personal educational purposes unless otherwise authorized in writing.

Participants retain ownership of materials they create and submit, such as resumes, written exercises, or personal development plans. ULF and the Program Partner may use those materials only as reasonably necessary to provide and administer the Program, unless the participant separately authorizes another use.

9. Modification of Terms

ULF may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will apply prospectively after reasonable notice to participants. Continued participation after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms.

10. Data Use and Privacy Protection

Personal information is collected and used to administer, improve, and evaluate the Program in accordance with the Hugspace Privacy Policy. ULF does not sell participant personal information.

If ULF or the Program Partner intends to use artificial intelligence, recording, transcription, or another automated tool to process identifiable participant information, participants will receive advance notice describing the purpose of that processing and any available choices.

Reports or evaluations shared outside ULF and the Program Partner will use aggregated or de-identified information unless a participant provides separate permission for an identifiable use.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived, disputes arising from these Terms or participation in the Program shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in California.

12. Contact Information
