Every Saturday: 90-minute Zoom sessions with a psychologist and a coach on topics of choice, in a supportive space where you are seen, heard valued.
Program Goals

Support for U.S. Adjustment
Understanding emotional responses to a changed environment and loss. Gentle, careful guidance for working through disorientation, guilt, and helplessness.

Self-Calming Tools
Learning body-based practices that release emotional tension, steady racing thoughts, reduce panic, and support better sleep. Building simple self-regulation routines for daily life

Community Connection
Creating a space where Ukrainians can discover their deep resilience, care for one another, humor, and spirit. That shared support becomes a real source of strength for moving forward.
How the meetings are conducted
- Meetings focus on one topic: anxiety, anger, guilt, or insomnia.
- The facilitator guides participants to understand and process emotions.
- Everyone can share or simply be present.
- Practical exercises include breathing, meditation, and physical techniques for emotional stabilization.

Mentor
Valentyna Petrenko — a psychologist with international accreditation.
Experience: 15 years working with trauma, emotional challenges, addictions, self-esteem issues, and relationships.
Supports people in adaptation, emotional stabilization, and recovery after stress and migration.
Uses evidence-based methods: schema therapy, EMDR, EFT, and Gestalt therapy — providing broad expertise and adaptability to different needs.
